REMEMBER THE SYMPTONS OF OVARIAN CANCER

Research shows that certain symptons, when they occur persisently, may suggest ovarian cancer. If caught early, treatment can be very successful.

DETECTING OVARIAN CANCER and how to reduce your risk (with thanks to Cancer Research UK)

If you are experiencing any of the following symptons on most days, which are not normal for you, it is importnat that you see your GP. Remembers they are unlikely to be caused by a serious problem, but it's best to have them checked out.

*Persistent pelvic and stomach pain
*Increased stomach size / persistent bloating - not bloating that comes and goes
*Difficult eating and feeling full quickly

Other symptons that can be associated with ovarian cancer include:

*Needing to urinate suddenly or more often
*Changes in bowel habit eg diarrhoea or constipation
*Excessive tiredness
*Back pain
